Apple has announced iPad Air 2, the thinnest iPad ever. 6.1 mm thin and weighing less than a pound, iPad Air 2 features an improved Retina display with anti-reflective coating and is available in gold, silver and space gray. The new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 offer Touch ID so users can unlock their iPad with just the touch of a finger and make purchases within apps using Apple Pay.

Nokia Unveils Three Lumia Smartphones for Windows Phone 8.1

Nokia recently announced three, Windows Phone 8.1 based, Lumia smartphones dual-SIM Lumia 630, Lumia 635 and Lumia 930. Nokia also confirmed that Windows Phone 8.1 is scheduled to be available across the entire Lumia Windows Phone 8 portfolio as an over-the-air update this summer following testing and partner approvals.

Jelly Bean Has Largest Android Device Share

Google has announced Android device share data for this year. Based on the released data, Jelly Bean has largest share with 4.1.x @ 35.9%. This data is based on devices running the latest Google Play Store app, which are compatible with Android 2.2 and higher.

KitKat is ramping up with 1.4% share so far while Ice Cream Sandwich has usage of 16.9%.

How to Create/Remove Shadow File in Linux?

In Linux, it is recommended to store the password in /etc/shadow file. In case, if /etc/shadow file is not available then the Linux saves the password in /etc/passwd by default. The advantage of using /etc/shadow file is that it is accessible only by the root user. However, /etc/passwd is readable by all users.
