Samsung recently announced the Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A, a new Broadband LTE-A (Cat.6) smartphone. In 2012, Samsung launched the Galaxy SII, followed by the Galaxy S4 LTE-A, a LTE-A smartphone in 2013.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A is a commercially available LTE Cat.6 network service smartphone and is equipped with a 2.5GHz Quad Core processor and 3GB RAM. Additionally, the Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A enables users to experience triple the connectivity speeds (225mbps) when downloading files, running apps and browsing the internet.
Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A features WQHD Super AMOLED display(2,156 x 1,440) and has a 16 megapixel camera with HDR, Auto Focus and Selective Focus as well as an IP67 rating as well as S-Health and a Heart Rate Monitor.
The Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A will be offered in Korea beginning this summer in charcoal Black, shimmer White, electric Blue, copper Gold, sweet Pink, and glam Red (Only for SKT).
