Nokia Unveils Three Lumia Smartphones for Windows Phone 8.1

Nokia recently announced three, Windows Phone 8.1 based, Lumia smartphones dual-SIM Lumia 630, Lumia 635 and Lumia 930. Nokia also confirmed that Windows Phone 8.1 is scheduled to be available across the entire Lumia Windows Phone 8 portfolio as an over-the-air update this summer following testing and partner approvals.

Nokia Lumia 930 specifications are as below

  • Main camera sensor: 20 MP, PureView

  • Display size: 5''

  • Display resolution: Full HD (1920 x 1080)

  • Processor name: Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 800

  • Maximum talk time (3G): 15.5h

  • Battery capacity: 2420mAh

  • Wireless charging: Built-in (Qi standard)

  • LTE network bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20; LTE max data speed DL: 150 Mbps; LTE max data speed UL: 50 Mbps 

  • WCDMA network: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz; HSDPA - 42.2 Mbps; HSUPA - 5.76 Mbps 

  • GSM network: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz

The Nokia Lumia 930 is expected to roll out globally in June starting with Europe, Asia, Middle East and India, available from USD 599 before taxes and subsidies.

  • Display resolution: FWVGA (854 x 480)

  • Processor name: Snapdragon 400

  • Maximum talk time (3G): 13.1h

  • Battery capacity: 1830mAh

  • WCDMA network: 900 MHz, 2100 MHz; HSDPA - 21.1 Mbps; HSUPA - 5.76 Mbps 

  • GSM network: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz

Nokia Lumia 635 specifications are as below

  • Display size: 4.5''

  • Display resolution: FWVGA (854 x 480)

  • Processor name: Snapdragon 400

  • Maximum talk time (3G): 14h

  • Battery capacity: 1830mAh

  • LTE network bands3: 2, 4, 5, 7, 17, LTE max data speed DL: 100 Mbps, LTE max data speed UL: 50 Mbps 

  • WCDMA network: 850 MHz, 1700 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz; HSDPA - 42.2 Mbps; HSUPA - 5.76 Mbps 

  • GSM network: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz

The Nokia Lumia 630 is expected to roll out in May, beginning with Asia, India/Middle East, South America and Europe, at USD 159 for the single-sim variant, and USD 169 for the dual-sim variant before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia Lumia 635 is expected to be broadly available, including in the US starting in this summer, from USD 189 before taxes and subsidies.
